Villa Dream

Villa Dream certainly lives up to its name – it’s one of the best villas you’ll find in Ibiza. The villa was acquired in January 2001 and was developed according to original project plans by renowned local architect Luis Gascon.

Since its purchase the property has been subject to major extensions and improvement, designed to enhance its exclusivity and authenticity by another internationally recognized architect Guillermo Bañares. The latest improvements have made the property fully habitable throughout the year and despite its proximity to the sea it can also be enjoyed during the winter months.

When it comes to amenities, there are a wealth of welcoming facilities inside the villa, but it’s outdoors where things get really interesting.

There’s a boat deck and a boat which can take up to 12 people on a marine adventure. If ocean life is not your idea of a good time, there’s no need to roam far from the deck of your gorgeous swimming pool. Pull up a comfortable sun lounger, pick up your favorite book or magazine, or plug in your earphones and drift off.

If you need to keep up with a bit of work while you’re here, there’s a business center in the villa plus a bar for a relaxing drink afterwards! Remember you’re coming here to enjoy yourself.

The property’s décor is minimalistic and soothing. The whites and creams throughout beautifully complement the deep blue of the swimming pool and ocean which is never far from sight. You’ll fall in love with the striking fireplace and wood finishes in some of the rooms.

All bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom. Air conditioning units, home automation, internet connection, Bluetooth and Smart TV with access to national and international channels, plus pay-per-view films. There are nine bedrooms in all accommodating a maximum of 16 guests, making this villa ideal for large family gatherings or groups of friends.

Diosa del Mar

Fall under Costa Rica’s spell at the enchanting Diosa del Mar. Owned by two world-renowned artists, the five-bedroom oceanfront villa in Guanacaste features both beautiful sunset views over the Pacific and magazine-worthy interiors. The white sands of Playa Blanca are just steps away, and the surf of Playa Negra is a short drive from the villa.

The heart of Diosa del Mar is a showstopping sixty-foot infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Relax by the pool in one of the lounge chairs, hammocks or on the daybed, or explore the sea with flotation devices and snorkeling equipment. There’s an outdoor shower for rinsing off and a gas grill for prepping dinner.

In the evening, gather around the home theater or fireplace and browse via Wi-Fi, and stay comfortable thanks to air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Gingerbread trim, beamed ceilings, white beadboard walls and dark wood floors give the villa charm and character, while floor-to-ceiling windows offer gorgeous ocean views. Low white leather sectionals provide plenty of seating in the living room, while brilliantly colored artwork is a unique, tropical touch.

The dining room’s carved white chairs and striped cushions have a similarly relaxed, beachy feel, and a glass wall can be opened to let in the sea breeze. The modern kitchen pairs wood cabinets and counters with stainless steel appliances and beadboard ceilings.

The five bedrooms at Diosa del Mar have king beds, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans, as well as the same whitewashed walls, high ceilings and charming detail as the rest of the house. Striped bedding is a crisp nod to the seaside setting, while upholstered headboards in painterly fabrics inspire sweet dreams.

From the villa, it’s a short walk to either the white sands of Playa Blanca or a local restaurant. It’s a 5-minute drive to Playa Negra or the Junquillal grocery store, a 10-minute drive to church and a 30-minute drive to the Pinilla golf course.

Heather Rd, Beverly Hills

Accessed via a stone-paved driveway, 9555 Heather Road is the culmination of traditional style and star-studded pedigree, a true trophy estate secluded behind private gates. The home was originally built by Paul Williams for Bert Lahr, the Wizard Of Oz’s Cowardly Lion, in 1941, a period when Williams had had already established himself as the “Architect to the Hollywood Stars”.

If these walls could talk, they would tell tales of famous actors, musicians, and public figures enjoying a lavish party but also of quiet evenings spent soaking up the night sky and surrounding Coldwater Canyon.

Comprising the 7 bed, 7 bath main home are rooms that invite a full house, whether for family or pure entertainment. The interior was redone by a Ralph Lauren designer to emulate an estate in the Hamptons, yet there’s no denying that the home was built for year-round enjoyment of the Southern California kind.

Your attention gravitates outwards thanks to the abundance of windows and upwards thanks to the high-soaring wood-beamed ceilings. Get swept away by the dual master suites, where dark hardwood flooring and neutral hues leave you feeling relaxed and comfortable.

The kitchen charms with its rejuvenating white color scheme, built-in cabinetry, thick marble slabs, and all the latest appliances. Of special note is the wall-length glass door just off the kitchen, which opens up the entire kitchen and adjoining living space areas to the backyard.

The architectural landscape speaks more like an elegant, residential park, with its tree-lined property enclosing lush grounds, stone walkways, and beautiful views.

No wonder 9555 Heather Road has been chosen as the backdrop for numerous commercials. For the competitor in you, the property boasts a vintage, two-lane bowling alley, full-fledged game room, lighted tennis court, putting green, and a sports court. Or you can simply choose to lay out by the pool and spa. In addition, the property is only five minutes from all the amenities in Beverly Hills.

Apart from the main house sits a 2 bed, 2.5 bath guest house with its own 2-car garage and private entrance. Just outside is where you’ll find a chic and stately dining area beckoning the finest of gatherings.

With its stone patio, striking Roman-inspired columns, and ceiling fans overhead, the space creates a heavenly ambience reminiscent of a luxury hotel. Leave the curtains open to take in the beautiful landscape or draw them together for a more intimate affair. Cloaked in privacy and sophistication, this estate at the end of Heather Road presents a tremendous opportunity to not only own a piece of history but start your own story.

Ultimate Ultramodern Seaside Getaway Villa With Restaurant

Located at the ocean’s edge near Phuket, Thailand, Iniala is a top-shelf luxury resort featuring three distinct private villas and a penthouse, as well as a number of amenities shared between all its guests.

The owners of the property enlisted the help of several well-known architecture and design firms to create their masterpiece property, and Spain’s A-cero was chief among them.

The company exercised creative control over one of the resort’s three villas, designed one room of another, and created a fantastic restaurant in the main building of the hotel.

A-cero’s designs focus on connecting futuristic materials and construction techniques with the influences of nature, as well as establishing parallels with traditional Thai design and architecture.

Inside the main villa, glossy white surfaces are interlaced with local wood varieties with shapes suggesting the sea’s waves.

In the restaurant, warm lighting and carpeted surfaces help give a welcoming atmosphere to a compellingly modern space.

The largest project in the resort overseen by A-cero is this luxurious villa, one of three different private dwellings which are part of the hotel property.

This is undoubtedly the most modern of the three, with unconventional architectural themes based on the sea’s waves and an overall design principle of flowing surfaces.

The villa contains three suites (two of which use A-cero’s designs and furnishings), a living room, and a dining room.

The two beachfront bedrooms are named the “Seashell Suites” for their architecture, which wraps around two edges in a curving facade reminiscent of the smooth exterior of a shell.

Each of these suites features a glass window wall facing the sea, protected from the view of others by the shell around the dwelling, and angular, unique French doors.
